Weaving Lab 4

Weaving Lab
Aisha Hachem
Saturday November 29
14.00 – 17.00 hrs.

On November 29, Aisha returns to NP3 | RE:Search:Gallery with her fourth Weaving Lab, a space of collective weaving and embroidery centered on the theme of home.

Building on the previous session, participants will work side by side with Aisha on a large woven piece. Both returning visitors and newcomers are welcome to continue their previous work or begin a new one.

“As you weave today, I invite you to sit with the word “stamp”.
Think about how such a small mark can carry so much meaning.

A stamp can be a beginning or a barrier.
It can let you in or remind you that you are waiting.
It can record where you’ve been or question where you are allowed to go.
It can be an approval, a memory, a crossing, a moment that stays with you.

While your hands move through the threads, reflect on the stamps in your own life –
the visible ones on paper and the inv
isible ones on your body, your history, your story.”
