| Kasper van Hoek

Kasper van Hoek is (sound)artist, musician and builts his own instruments. The next few weeks Kasper works in NP3.tmp on new resourceful and technical concepts, installations in which he does a (re)search on the interaction between the object, sound and the visitor. Kasper’s work is characterized by its own powerful purity in the use of material and technique: experimental, interactive installations whereby sound, strings and self-developed hardware are his focus. Between these unique constructions of wood and plastic, hanging at instrumental strings, squeaking sound and the inviting knobs to turn, the visitor immerses himself under in the alienating world of sounds and vibrations. The work of Kasper is brought in “movement” by the active role of the visitor, the receiving and sending of selfproduced ‘audio data’.
