GRIP – land art project

Jan van der Ploeg exhibits the land art project GRIP in the context of his residency in Atelier aan de Middendijk. Inspired by the impressive land art projects of the American artist Dennis Oppenheim in 1969 in a field in Finsterwolde van der Ploeg decided to make his GRIP at the Hoogeland. For the exhibition he also made a new large wall painting. By making the work of Dennis Oppenheim part of the exhibition, he positions GRIP in a historical context.
